The festival provides stage opportunities for children and champions creativity, inclusivity, and nation-building through the performing arts; it prides itself in bringing quality, financially accessible plays to rural areas, available to lesser economically advantaged communities.

We were proud to support Malherbe Human Primary by providing them with the athletics vests they badly needed, theirs being old and faded. We thank Hendrik Louw Primary School in Strand who donated sports equipment and sport clothes, while Minrom supplied gazebos and hats for sports days in the baking Karoo sun.

Food Donations
At the end of 2023 and throughout 2024, Be The Good supplied the community feeding scheme run by the VGK church with some vital supplies of vegetables, soup mixes and porridge for school lunches, providing much needed nourishment. This scheme is especially crucial for children who rely on school meals as their only source of food.
